The future looks like trash. Literally. In 2020 there will be more trash/garbage in the ocean than fish. We have giant landfills bigger than our states (of depression) floating around on our ocean, killing the birds. We will literally slowly boil alive as our once beautiful, prosperous planet is turned into a hellhole of fire and mayhem, equivalent to the same environment as of Venus. The few remaining humans will screech in pain as torrents of acid melt the very skin off their face. If you are lucky to survive the end of the world, you will be swallowed by the sun as it expands to end the failure of Earth.
Trash. It's important.
